Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G at Mobile World Congress 2025. These smartphones offer cutting-edge AI, upgraded cameras, and improved performance.
Samsung designed both models with a sleek, modern aesthetic. The 7.4mm slim profile ensures a comfortable grip. The A56 5G comes in Awesome Pink, Olive, light gray, and Graphite.
Meanwhile, the A36 5G is available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.
Both phones feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The screen delivers vibrant colors and deep contrast, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits ensures visibility even in direct sunlight.
The smooth refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming seamless.
Performance is a significant highlight. The Galaxy A56 5G runs on the Exynos 1580 processor. It has 8GB or 12GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options.
The A36 5G uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It comes with similar RAM and storage options. Both support a microSD card for an additional 1TB of storage.
Battery life is a strong suit for both devices. Each phone houses a 5,000 mAh battery. The 45W fast-charging support ensures quick power-ups.
Samsung’s adaptive battery technology enhances longevity by optimizing energy use.
Camera capabilities have been significantly upgraded. The A56 5G features a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera.

The A36 5G also has a 50MP primary sensor but with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Both models include a 12MP front camera for high-quality selfies.
AI-driven enhancements take photography to the next level. Features like AI subject detection, noise reduction, and night photography improve image quality.
Software innovations also stand out. Running Android 15 with One UI 7, these devices introduce Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence” AI capabilities. The new Circle to Search feature allows users to find information by circling objects on the screen.
AI-powered editing tools like Object Eraser make photo adjustments simple.
Samsung promises long-term software support. Both phones will receive six years of OS and security updates, ensuring a secure and updated experience for years to come.
Durability is another strong point. The front and rear are made with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added protection. Both devices carry an IP67 rating, making them resistant to dust and water.
Samsung plans to launch these models on March 27, 2025. The Galaxy A56 5G starts at $699, and the A36 5G is priced at $549. These models offer a flagship-like experience at a budget-friendly cost.
