Eco-Friendly Heating Gets Smarter: LG Presents Next-Gen Heat Pumps and Chillers at ISH 2025

LG’s Energy-Efficient HVAC Innovations Lead the Way at ISH 2025

LG high efficiency HVAC solutions ISH 2025

LG Electronics is making waves at ISH 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany. The company is unveiling its latest high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions.

These innovations focus on electrification, decarbonization, and sustainable performance for residential and commercial applications.

One of the main highlights is the Therma V R290 Monobloc. This next-generation residential heating system combines energy efficiency with sleek European design.

It recently won a 2024 International Design Excellence Award and earned high marks from Stiftung Warentest, a German consumer organization.

Therma V R290 uses R290 refrigerant, with an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3. The system provides an eco-friendly heating solution while delivering top-tier performance.

It ensures reduced carbon emissions and an A+++ energy efficiency rating.

Designed for Europe’s harsh winters, the Therma V operates reliably even at extreme temperatures. LG’s proprietary scroll compressor enhances energy efficiency and heating capacity.

The compressor’s lower positioning within the unit improves stability and maintains full capacity even at minus 15 degrees Celsius.

Another key feature is quiet operation. In Low Noise Mode, the Therma V produces only 50 A-weighted decibels, which helps maintain a peaceful indoor and outdoor environment.

LG is also introducing its advanced Heat Pump Water heater (HPWH). These units use R290 refrigerant and work with both electricity and ambient air. They offer a higher efficiency alternative to traditional electric or gas water heaters.

Smart Grid compatibility enhances the efficiency of these water heaters. They adjust energy consumption dynamically based on electricity demand.

For flexible installation, homeowners can choose from floor-standing or wall-mounted models.

LG presents the Monobloc G large-capacity Air-to-Water Heat Pump (AWHP) for multi-residential buildings and commercial spaces. This system supports scalability, allowing up to eight units to be connected.

It meets growing heating demands efficiently while maintaining low noise levels.

The Cascade Control Unit complements this system. It ensures continuous operation through built-in backup mechanisms. Its space-saving design makes it ideal for multi-family housing complexes.

LG is introducing the Inverter Scroll Chiller for large commercial and industrial applications. This system is designed for high-performance heating and cooling and features twin inverter scroll compressors and plate-type heat exchangers for superior heat transfer efficiency.

The chiller offers innovative energy management when integrated with LG’s Building Energy Control (BECON) CPM system.

Facility managers can monitor and control HVAC components in real-time, and the system provides alerts for potential issues, allowing quick corrective action.

The BECON CPM system also helps minimize energy waste. Its AI-driven technology optimizes efficiency and simplifies system operations. The platform will soon be available across Europe.

LG’s ISH 2025 showcase also includes the R32 Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF)-based integrated solution package.

This package consists of the LG Multi V I, an all-electric VRF system that intelligently adapts performance based on environmental conditions to prevent unnecessary energy use.

When paired with the Hydro Kit, the Multi V I provides efficient floor heating and hot water. It is suitable for both residential and commercial settings.

Additionally, it is compatible with Air Handling Unit applications for large warehouses and specialized business environments.

AI-driven analytics further enhance energy efficiency. The system optimizes indoor comfort and reduces energy consumption, making it a cost-effective solution.

LG is launching the LG All-Stars program to support HVAC professionals and installers. This initiative provides exclusive benefits, training opportunities, and networking connections.

Additionally, LG’s BECON Cloud maintenance service enhances remote monitoring capabilities. This system ensures fast and accurate issue diagnosis from anywhere, improving system reliability and efficiency for residential and commercial users.

With these HVAC innovations, LG is shaping the future of sustainable heating and cooling. The company’s latest technologies prioritize energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

As demand for greener solutions grows, LG continues to lead the way in innovative, eco-friendly HVAC systems.
