Chase and United Airlines are changing the game for travelers.
They’ve just rolled out a major overhaul of their co-branded credit card lineup. The new updates aim to make flying more rewarding, convenient, and personal.
Cardmembers across the board now receive significantly more annual value. Every travel style is covered, from occasional vacationers to frequent flyers and small business owners.
The changes are already live. All new and existing card members can access fresh benefits starting today.
Some cards now offer as much as $2,000 in total yearly value. Others provide luxury lounge access, free upgrades, and generous travel credits.
One significant addition includes new perks from Instacart.
Each United card comes with a complimentary three-month Instacart+ membership. Afterward, cardholders get discounts on annual memberships and up to $240 in annual credits.
This move signals a stronger focus on the travel experience—before, during, and after a flight.
Every card now carries its own distinct set of benefits. The goal is to match different travel habits and lifestyles without sacrificing value.
The United℠ Explorer Card is designed for travelers who fly occasionally. It now delivers more than $800 in total annual value.

MileagePlus members benefit even more when they redeem miles for flights. They save on award ticket prices to more than 360 destinations.
More than 70 of these routes are not served by any other U.S. airline. It opens new doors for cardmembers eager to explore.
There are no blackout dates when booking with miles. Travelers can use miles alone or combine them with cash.
Members can also share miles with family or friends. MileagePlus allows pooling, so combining points is easier than ever.
The loyalty program continues to stand out. MileagePlus was recently named the world’s best airline loyalty program.
Alongside the card updates, United also raised the cost of the United Club lounge access. Individual memberships now cost $750, up from $650.
Memberships with guest access increased to $1,400. These changes aim to improve the lounge experience by reducing crowding.
United is launching a new ad campaign to build awareness of these card benefits. Emmy-winning actor Ty Burrell stars in the effort, bringing humor and relatability to the travel experience.
He walks through common scenarios—rushing through airports, navigating overhead bins, and waiting at the gate. Each moment highlights how a United Card can help make travel smoother and more enjoyable.
The campaign will be on screens starting April 1, 2025. It aims to connect with travelers emotionally while showing them the real perks of being a card member.
United and Chase have long partnered to offer travel rewards, but this refresh signals a much bolder approach.
The new lineup goes beyond flights, from fast-track status to food delivery credits. It’s about rewarding loyalty while supporting every part of the journey.
For those who fly United—even just once or twice a year—there’s a compelling reason to consider a United Card. Every swipe earns more value in the air and on the ground.
