SAY YES TO THE PROM 2025: The Event Giving Students a New Future

Transforming Student Experiences: The Impact of SAY YES TO THE PROM

SAY YES TO THE PROM 2025 Initiative

The “SAY YES TO THE PROM” initiative is back for its 13th year. This highly anticipated program, led by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), continues to make prom dreams come true.

It offers more than just fashion—empowerment, mentorship, and career-building opportunities.

Since its inception, the initiative has helped over 8,000 high school students. This year, it will serve around 1,500 students in three major cities.

The event starts in Atlanta on February 3-4, followed by New York City on February 11-12, and concludes in Los Angeles on March 19-20.

Each city is paired with a corporate partner. Comcast supports the Atlanta event, Optimum is involved in New York, and DIRECTV backs the Los Angeles stop.

A standout feature of the program is the shopping spree. Students get to select their ideal prom attire with help from top stylists. From “SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA,” Monte Durham is returning to guide them.

Macy’s is donating over 2,000 stylish dresses, shoes, and jewelry to complete the look. Men’s Wearhouse offers custom tuxedo fittings and rentals for a polished finish.

But fashion is just one part of the experience. Warner Bros. Discovery is using its reach in the entertainment industry to provide career guidance. CNN stylists will be available for hair and makeup consultations.

Students will also receive accessories donated by Sales One, Jacmel, Inc., Bioworld Merchandising, and Hypnotic Hats. L’Oréal USA is contributing premium cosmetics. These touches help students feel their best on prom night.

More than a makeover, this program focuses on education and career development. Students gain access to career resources and mentorship opportunities. Information on scholarships and industry networking is also available.

This initiative continues to grow in impact. It reflects Warner Bros. Discovery’s dedication to creating opportunities for young people. Confidence, representation, and access remain at the heart of this program.

Preparations for this year’s events are already in motion. The excitement for prom season is building. Soon, students will experience a day of transformation, mentorship, and celebration.

“SAY YES TO THE PROM” is a powerful example of community support and corporate philanthropy. It proves that with the right resources, students can shine.

This initiative ensures that every young person gets a moment to feel extraordinary.
